Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all services and products offered by GoMarketplace Exchange LLC. We are committed to transparency and fair treatment of all clients.

1. SaaS Services — Monthly Subscriptions

Free Trial: All new clients receive a 30-day free trial. No charge is made for the first month of service. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.

Monthly Subscriptions (R$299/month):

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance, at the start of each billing cycle.
  • No refunds are issued for partial months. If you cancel during a billing period, you retain access until the end of that period.
  • You may cancel at any time via the client portal or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Exception: If a service outage caused solely by our infrastructure exceeds 72 consecutive hours in a billing month, you may request a prorated credit for the affected days. This credit will be applied to your next invoice.

2. Setup Fee (R$799 — One-Time)

The setup fee covers the initial configuration, deployment, and customization of your system or website.

  • Refundable within 7 days if no work has been started on your project. Contact us within 7 days of payment to request a full refund.
  • Partial refund (50%) if work has begun but is less than 50% complete, at our assessment.
  • Non-refundable once the system or website has been delivered and made accessible to you.

3. Book and Product Sales

For physical or digital books and products sold through GoMarketplace Exchange:

Physical Books:

  • Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery if the item is in original, unused condition.
  • Items must be returned in original packaging. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item was defective or incorrectly sent.
  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving the returned item.
  • Defective or incorrect items: We will cover return shipping and provide a full refund or replacement at your choice.

Digital Products:

  • Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales are final once the product has been downloaded or accessed.
  • If a digital product is defective (cannot be opened or accessed), contact us within 48 hours of purchase for a replacement or full refund.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or cancellation:

  1. Email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request”.
  2. Include your full name, registered email, description of the product or service, date of purchase, and reason for the request.
  3. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process it within 10 business days.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe. Processing time may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

5. Chargebacks

We encourage clients to contact us before initiating a chargeback. If you open a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution and provide evidence to your bank that the charge was legitimate.

Frivolous chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.

6. Disputes

If you disagree with our refund decision, you may escalate the matter to [email protected] for review. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly.

7. Consumer Rights (Brazilian Clients — CDC)

Brazilian clients are protected by the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor — CDC). In accordance with Article 49 of the CDC:

  • You have the right to withdraw from a distance contract (online purchase) within 7 calendar days from the date of purchase or receipt, with a full refund.
  • This right applies to the monthly subscription and setup fee, provided that the service has not yet been substantially delivered or accessed.
